SealedFor ("the Service") is a secure deferred delivery platform that allows users to create encrypted time capsules containing multimedia content (text, photos, videos, audio, documents). Capsules are securely stored and delivered to specified recipients at a future date chosen by the sender, or upon triggering of a Dead Man's Switch (no response to periodic check-in emails).
By using SealedFor, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time — material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
You must be at least 16 years old to use SealedFor. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have parental or guardian consent.
SealedFor operates on a token-based system. You do not need to create an account. Your edit token (format: sf_edit_...) is your sole means of managing your capsule. You are responsible for keeping your edit token safe. If you lose it, you can recover it via your email address, but we cannot access your token directly — only a cryptographic hash is stored.
All purchases are one-time payments processed by Paddle (our Merchant of Record). Paddle handles tax compliance (VAT, sales tax, GST) in all jurisdictions. Paddle's terms apply to payment processing: paddle.com/legal/terms.
Refund policy: Due to the nature of digital storage and encryption services, refunds are generally not provided after purchase. You may cancel a capsule at any time using your edit token, but the payment is non-refundable. This is clearly communicated before checkout. If you experience a technical issue preventing capsule creation, contact support@sealedfor.com.

Base pricing includes up to 15 years of storage. Additional years are available as add-ons. Dead Man's Switch delivery is available as a 2× base price add-on.
You agree not to use SealedFor to store or deliver content that:
Recipients may report capsules. SealedFor reserves the right to cancel capsules that violate this policy after review. Admin access to capsule content requires explicit recipient consent (see Privacy Policy §12).
At creation time, you may opt into immutability (content cannot be edited after creation) and/or undeletability (capsule cannot be cancelled). These options are enforced at the database level and cannot be reversed — even by SealedFor staff. Choose carefully.
All files are encrypted with AES-256-GCM (AEAD with integrity protection) at rest. We use server-side envelope encryption: each file receives a unique key, encrypted with a master key. While we employ industry-standard security measures, no system is 100% secure. You acknowledge that you use the Service at your own risk.
SealedFor is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific capsule in question.
SealedFor is designed for long-term storage (up to 150 years). We commit to maintaining the service infrastructure for the duration of your purchased capsule. In the event of service discontinuation, we will provide at least 12 months notice and deliver all active capsules to their intended recipients or provide content export options to senders.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. For EU users, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply. Disputes will be resolved through the courts of competent jurisdiction, or through EU Online Dispute Resolution (ec.europa.eu/odr) for EU consumers.
