All capsules use AES-256 encryption at rest and in transit by default. Encryption keys are securely managed on our infrastructure with strict access controls. For true zero-knowledge protection, enable the Privacy Shield add-on: your files are encrypted directly in your browser using a unique Viewing Key that is generated on your device and never sent to our servers. Even in the event of a complete infrastructure breach — database, storage, and server environment — your data remains unreadable. No one at SealedFor can access your content. Without the Viewing Key, decryption is permanently impossible, by design.
